Mimetic are giving away a bursary by public vote for places in the festival. What you get:
- No upfront venue costs
- One week slot in Mimetic 2 or Lucy’s Room
- Free upgrade to full page advert in festival program
- Free marketing consultation for your show
- Free production photography
- 70% of box-office for your show
To apply for the bursary:
- Send us a link to a you-tube trailer of your production (max 2mins)
- We’ll then create a page for your show on the Mimetic Website
- Whichever page receives the most audience Facebook likes will win the bursary
Voting will be opened on Monday 4th August and remain open till Sunday 14th September. You can submit your video at any point up till the close of voting on the 14th September - but obviously the sooner the better!

Terms and Conditions
- While we will do our best to accommodate the winners preference week and time slot we can not guarantee it as slots will need to be allocated taking into account the rest of the program
- We do not mind if you share your page across several platforms, profiles or groups, however deliberately sharing it repeatedly to the same profile or page will be considered unfair practice. We will be monitoring page shares and reserve the right to disqualify any individual or group we believe to be acting deliberately against the spirit of the competition.
